Businesses whose work is easy to show in photos: event and restroom rentals, cleaning and pressure washing, landscaping, painting, roofing, pool care, remodeling, HVAC and plumbing installs, auto detailing and similar trades.
About search visibility, honestly
These pages give potential customers useful examples of your experience and give search engines more context about your services and where you perform them. Over time, a useful collection of genuine projects can create more opportunities to appear in relevant searches across the areas you serve.
For example, a restroom rental company might publish separate projects for a wedding in Naples, a construction site in Fort Myers, and a community event in Cape Coral. Each page describes the actual service, location, photos, and circumstances of that job. These are useful examples of real experience—not copies of one page with different city names.
Useful, original pages about real jobs can support search visibility: they describe the services you provide and the areas you work in, in your own words and photos. Each published page gets a descriptive title, description, sitemap entry and structured data that matches what’s on the page.
We don’t promise rankings, traffic, leads or Google Maps placement, and structured data doesn’t guarantee any special search features. Hidden GPS tags alone are not a proven ranking boost. The useful signals are clear project text, descriptive filenames, relevant photo descriptions and consistent page information.
We prepare your photo details automatically
Add your photos and job details. We create a descriptive filename and a starting photo description for you. You can edit each description to explain what the photo shows.
When published, every image size includes the approved project title, description, service, city and state in its file tags. The project page includes matching information for search engines, and downloaded photos keep those tags.
Photo descriptions also help people using screen readers. Location tags use the public city and state by default. We remove camera GPS. You can ask your customer to approve an exact map pin separately; they can approve the photos while leaving exact-location sharing unchecked. Useful, accurate pages can support relevant searches, but image tags do not guarantee rankings.
Photo permission and location permission
No permission to share the exact location? You can still publish approved photos with city only. Remove faces, names, license plates, addresses and other identifying details from photos and text.
You must own the photos or have the right to use them. Removing private details does not override a customer’s refusal, a contract or any required permission. Project Showcase currently requires customer approval of the photos and text before publication.
Your customer approves first
Before a project goes on your website, your customer gets a private link. No account is needed. The link shows the exact photos, the proposed description, the location you plan to show (city level by default) and where it will appear. They can approve, decline or ask for changes. Their choice doesn’t affect their service.
- Approval covers that exact version. If you change the photos, the description or the location, they’re asked again.
- Exact-location, social media and advertising permissions are separate from photo and website approval. Those options are never preselected.
- Opening the link doesn’t approve anything. Nothing publishes until they choose Approve.
- Links are private, expire and can be cancelled. Permission pages are never indexed by search engines.
- Customers can ask to have a project taken down at any time, and you can unpublish it in one step.
What you need
- A website built and hosted by ServiceTechHub. Websites connected to a ServiceTechHub account are supported case by case; ask us first. Other platforms aren’t supported yet.
- A phone with a modern browser (iPhone Safari or Android Chrome). You can add the app to your home screen; no app store download.
- Your customer’s approval through the private permission link (built into the tool)
Questions
Can Project Showcase help my business appear in searches in other areas?
It can support that goal. Detailed project pages can help search engines understand the work you perform and the places you serve, while helping customers evaluate your experience. Results depend on competition, website quality, and other factors. Publishing a project does not guarantee a ranking or a Google Maps position in that location.
Can my employees publish to my website?
Not by default. Employees add jobs and submit them; an owner or manager reviews, edits if needed, and approves before anything is published. You can give a specific person publishing rights if you choose.
Do employees share one login?
No. Everyone gets their own account through a single-use invitation link that expires. You can remove someone's access at any time, and it ends immediately.
What does the AI do?
AI drafting isn’t switched on yet. When it is, choosing “Help me with AI” drafts a title, description, captions and image descriptions from what you wrote and what is clearly visible in the photos. It doesn't invent results, reviews, dates or equipment, and every word can be edited. Nothing is published without approval, and the form works without AI.
Is customer information kept private?
Job pages show the city and state by default. Neighborhood or venue is shown only if you choose to include it. Internal notes are never published, and camera GPS is removed. City/state is the default. An exact map pin and optional venue name are added only with separate customer approval. Please don't upload photos that show private information.
Which websites does it work with?
This first version works with websites built and hosted by ServiceTechHub. Websites connected to a ServiceTechHub account are supported case by case, so ask us first. Other website platforms aren't supported yet.
How much does it cost?
Project Showcase is $49.99 a month, month to month, and it’s included in SEO Advanced. It needs an active ServiceTechHub website subscription, billed separately.
Do project pages use up my website page allowance or edit credits?
No. Project pages don't count against your website plan's pages, and adding a project doesn't use quick-edit credits.
Add Project Showcase
