What moving your website involves
Sign up and pick a design
Choose one of our designs or let us choose. In the intake, give us your current website address and say which pages, text and photos to keep.
We rebuild your pages
We build your new site from the content on your current site plus anything new you send, within your plan's page count. Your old site stays live the whole time.
You review the draft
A first draft typically arrives 5–7 business days after your first month is paid and we have your content. You get two revision rounds before launch. Turnaround details
We connect your domain
Your domain stays registered where it is, in your name. We tell you exactly which records to change, or make the change with the access you give us, and only the records that point the domain at the website. Domain terms
Launch
Old page addresses that change are redirected to the matching new pages so existing links and listings keep working. After launch, hosting and technical upkeep are included; content changes are handled as edits after launch.
What you keep
- Your domain. It stays at your registrar under your control. We never ask you to transfer it to us.
- Your Google Business Profile. Nothing about your profile changes when the website moves. If you want help with it later, that is a separate service.
- Your email. We change only the records that point your domain at the website, so email keeps working where it is.
- Your text and photos. You own them. We reuse what you have the rights to and tell you if something needs a replacement.

The same plans as a new website, with no setup fee and no migration charge. Hosting and technical upkeep are included in the monthly price. Plans are month to month and the website plan payment is covered by the 7-day satisfaction guarantee.

What we need from you
- Your current website address and which pages matter most
- Your logo and any photos you have the rights to use
- Changes you want made to the text while we are at it
- Access to your domain's DNS settings when we are ready to connect it, or someone who can make the change
What a move does not include
Your new site is built on our platform, not copied from your old one. Online stores, customer logins, booking systems, blogs with many posts and other custom features are not part of the standard plans and need a separate quote. We also don't move or manage your email hosting.
Common questions
Will my website go offline during the move?
No. Your current site stays up while we build the new one. It is replaced only when we connect your domain at launch, and you approve the draft before that happens.
Will I lose my Google rankings?
No one can guarantee rankings. Keeping your domain and redirecting old page addresses to the matching new pages gives Google the clearest signal that it is the same business. Tell us in the intake which old addresses matter.
Can I keep my current design?
Your new site uses one of our 30 designs, customized with your name, colors, photos and text. If you want it to stay close to your current look, share the address and tell us what to keep.
What happens to my old hosting?
Once your domain points to the new site, you can cancel your old hosting or website builder. Do not cancel before launch, or your current site goes down early.
