Landscaping Website Design in St. Petersburg, FL
St. Petersburg lawns are under a once-a-week watering order, reclaimed water runs on its own schedule, and the city has specific rules for professionally applied fertilizer. Homeowners here, most of whom own their homes, notice which crews follow them. We build landscaping websites that show you do, then host and maintain them.
Once a week, and the rules for pros
As posted by the city, St. Petersburg is under the Southwest Florida Water Management District's Modified Phase 3 water shortage order: lawn watering once a week, even addresses on Saturday and odd addresses on Sunday, in one window of 5 to 9 a.m. or 7 to 11 p.m. The district has extended its one-day-a-week order through March 31, 2027. Fertilizers and pesticides applied by a hired professional must be watered in within 24 hours per the label, with a dated sign visible in the yard, and allowable hours still apply. Reclaimed-water irrigation isn't restricted, but the city asks for no more than three days a week.
Don't print the schedule on your site; the order changes. Link to the city's water restrictions page, and explain the pro-applied rule and the yard sign so customers understand what your crew leaves behind.

Certification and the city receipt
The city's business tax receipt list has separate classifications for landscapers and tree surgeons, lawn maintenance only, and lawn irrigation equipment contractors, who need Pinellas County Construction Licensing Board registration. Statewide, commercial fertilizer applicators hold the FDACS Limited Urban Commercial Fertilizer Applicator Certification, issued only after proof of Green Industry Best Management Practices training. Show the certification near your services, and if you install irrigation, show your PCCLB registration too.

Salt, storms and the shoreline
St. Pete is a peninsula with 244 miles of shoreline, 361 days of sunshine a year and an average of 74°F. The city says it faces localized flooding and storm surge risk year-round. NWS Tampa Bay describes summers with thunderstorms most days. Salt-tolerant plantings, drainage and post-storm cleanup are services worth their own page here, with your own photos.

A market of owners
St. Petersburg has 119,244 households and 62.8% of homes are owner-occupied, with 21.1% of residents 65 or older. Owners buy weekly maintenance for the long term and installs they'll live with for years, and older customers value a crew that shows up when it says it will. A maintenance page that spells out what each visit includes suits this city.

St. Petersburg landscaping website questions
What's the monthly cost?

Will the site show the watering schedule?
We link to the city's water restrictions page rather than print the schedule, because the district changes it.
Can you explain the yard-sign rule to my customers?
Yes. A short section covers professionally applied fertilizer, the 24-hour watering-in rule and the dated sign your crew leaves.
How do I add a new service later?
After launch, Amy, your AI website assistant, handles small changes like this (10 published edits a month included); anything bigger goes to our team and we'll send you a quote.
