What city rank tracking means

4. Open your account to see each map, the average rank, top-3 share and coverage, and how they changed.

Reading a trend

Single scans bounce around, so look at direction over several weeks. A rising top-3 share means you are winning more of the map pack. Rising coverage with a flat average rank usually means you are reaching new areas, starting low. A sudden drop across every keyword is worth checking right away: look at whether something changed on your Google profile.
