Contractor Website Design in Miami, FL
Before they call, Miami clients want to know if a contractor is licensed for the job and builds for hurricane country. We build contractor websites that answer both clearly, with hosting and upkeep included.
Certified or registered: say which
Florida DBPR's Construction Industry Licensing Board separates certified contractors, who may contract in any jurisdiction in the state, from registered contractors, who have met a local jurisdiction's competency requirements and may contract only there. Most clients don't know the difference, so state yours in one plain sentence and link to DBPR's license search.
A certified contractor's service-area page can reach past Miami-Dade. A registered contractor's should stay within the jurisdictions the registration covers.

Miami-Dade's certificates of competency
Miami-Dade County's Board and Code Administration Division provides local licensing for contractors and runs the required exams. The county issues Journeyman and Masters Certificates of Competency, and once you hold a personal certificate you can get a business license. Where Chapter 10 of the County Code and Chapter 489 of the Florida Statutes require it, certificate holders must also register with DBPR.
If you hold both a county certificate and a state license, show both numbers. It saves a client from guessing which one applies to their job.

Working in the High Velocity Hurricane Zone
Miami-Dade takes part in the Florida Building Commission's process to make sure the High Velocity Hurricane Zone requirements are not weakened, and its Product Approval section reviews about 1,250 product approval applications a year. The National Hurricane Center gives the Atlantic hurricane season as June 1 to November 30.
On a contractor site, that's a reason to explain in plain words how you choose approved windows, doors and roofing, and to show finished work in your own photos. A storm-season page can be refreshed each year without touching the rest of the site.

City of Miami tax receipt and permits
Inside the City of Miami, every business needs a Business Tax Receipt, and the Building Department manages permits through its online platform, iBuild. Keep the business name identical on your website, receipt and license. If you also pull permits in Coral Gables, Miami Beach or unincorporated Miami-Dade, list those places on your service-area page.

Replacing a contractor website you already have?
You keep your domain. We rebuild the site on one of our designs, carry over the text and photos worth keeping, and connect the domain at launch so your current site stays up until then. How switching works

Miami contractor website questions
What does a contractor website cost in Miami?
The same as anywhere we build: $24.99 a month for Starter (1 page), $34.99 for Business (up to 3 pages) or $49.99 for Pro (up to 5 pages). There's no setup fee, hosting and upkeep are included, and you pay the first month through secure Stripe checkout when you sign up.
Should I list both my state and county licenses?
If you hold both, yes. We place your DBPR license number and your Miami-Dade certificate details where clients look, usually the footer and About page, and link to DBPR's license search.
Can you add a hurricane-season notice?
Yes. We can build a notice or page you switch on before storm season. After launch, Amy, your AI website assistant, handles small changes like this (10 published edits a month included); anything bigger goes to our team and we'll send you a quote.
How long until my site launches?
Your first draft typically arrives 5–7 business days after your first month is paid and we have your content, followed by two revision rounds before launch.
