Websites for contractors

Contractor clients compare license details, finished projects and how fast they can ask for an estimate. A contractor website should make all three easy to find on a phone as well as a laptop.

What a contractor website needs

Recommended designs

Design previews use fictional businesses. Your site uses your own name, photos and details.

Already have a contractor website?

Move it instead of starting over: keep your domain, we rebuild on one of 30 designs from your existing content, and hosting and technical upkeep are included in the monthly price. How switching works

In Florida

In Florida, DBPR's Construction Industry Licensing Board licenses contractors as certified, who may contract in any jurisdiction in the state, or registered, who may contract only in the local jurisdictions where they met competency requirements. Some counties, such as Miami-Dade, also issue their own certificates of competency. Put your license number on the site so clients can check it.

Common questions

Do I need a page for every type of job?

Not at first. Start with your main kinds of work and a gallery sorted by job type. Add pages later as your work grows; extra pages are $149.99 each, or move to a plan with more pages.

Should my license number be on the website?

Yes. Clients often check it before they call. We place it in the footer and on your About page and can link to the state's license search.

Can you write the project descriptions?

We can help shape them from your notes and photos. Every project shown must be your own work, shared with the owner's okay.
