Landscaping Website Design in Orlando, FL

Orlando's watering rules are stable enough to print, its afternoon storms are not, and most of its grounds belong to landlords, HOAs and property managers. We build landscaping websites that fit that market, then host and maintain them.

Watering days you can put on your site

Orange County's ordinance limits landscape irrigation to one day a week during Eastern Standard Time and two days a week during daylight saving time, with no watering between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. and no more than one hour per zone. The current schedule runs odd or no-number addresses on Wednesday and Saturday, even addresses Thursday and Sunday, and nonresidential properties Tuesday and Friday through October 31, 2026. A first violation gets a warning and repeat violations a $25 fine. New sod may be watered any day for 30 days, then every other day for the next 30.

Unlike the Tampa Bay side of the state, Orange County isn't under a shortage order, so a watering-days box on your site is useful. Keep a link to the county page beside it.

Certification customers can see

Florida requires commercial fertilizer applicators to hold the FDACS Limited Urban Commercial Fertilizer Applicator Certification, and FDACS asks for proof of Green Industry Best Management Practices training before issuing it. A separate limited landscape maintenance certification covers herbicides, insecticides and fungicides on ornamental beds only. Show the certification near your services and say which crew members hold it.

Working around lightning

NWS Melbourne calls lightning Florida's number-one weather-related killer, notes that strikes can hit more than ten miles from a storm's center, and advises that if you can hear thunder you're within range and should wait 30 minutes after the last clap. For a crew that spends every summer afternoon outdoors, a short safety statement on the site explains why a visit may shift and reassures the customer that you take it seriously.

Who signs the maintenance contracts

Orlando has 131,179 households, but only 39.5% of homes are owner-occupied, and Orange County hosts more than 75 million visitors a year across resorts and rentals. Property managers, HOAs and hospitality operators control a large share of the grounds. A page that explains what a monthly visit includes and how you report after each one is what they want to read; a homeowner page for installs and cleanups serves everyone else.
