Chatham County, Georgia
Savannah service business websites, built for the coast
Savannah businesses work around squares, shipping cranes and a city process that starts with your location. Your website should look as settled as the business behind it.
Port work and the city's location approval
Savannah is the Chatham County seat. The Georgia Ports Authority's Port of Savannah includes Garden City Terminal and Ocean Terminal, with nearly 10,000 feet of contiguous berth space and direct access to I-16 and I-95. That port brings warehouse, trucking and logistics work, and a lot of commercial cleaning and maintenance contracts with it.
Before the city issues a Business Tax Certificate, it requires a Business Location Approval, which it says used to be called zoning approval. Home-based businesses apply under the Home Occupation type. Getting that approval before you print your address on a website saves a reprint later.
Savannah work that keeps crews busy
- Commercial cleaning Warehouses and offices tied to the port need regular cleaning. A page with a quote form that asks for square footage and shift times fits that work.
- Pressure washing Older homes, brick walks and shopfronts make before-and-after photos easy to collect, and photos sell this trade.
- Pest control A humid coastal city means steady demand. List the treatments you offer and how often you return.
- Handyman Lots of small repair jobs on older houses. A simple list of what you do and don't take on saves both sides a phone call.
