Websites for electricians
Electrical customers want to know two things fast: are you licensed, and do you do the job they need. Panel upgrades, generators, EV chargers and repairs are different searches, so list them clearly.
What a electrical website needs
- Your state license number in the header or footer
- Services listed separately: repairs, panels, generators, EV chargers, lighting, commercial
- Whether you take urgent calls (only if you do)
- Service area by city and county
- Photos of real installs, not stock lightning bolts
Recommended designs
Design previews use fictional businesses. Your site uses your own name, photos and details.
In Florida
Florida's Electrical Contractors' Licensing Board licenses electricians through DBPR. Certified contractors can work statewide; registered contractors only where they hold a local competency card. Say which you are and where you work.
Common questions
Should I have a generator page?
If you install them, yes. Generator installs are their own search, especially before storm season.
Do I list EV chargers?
Only if you install them. We keep the services list to what you actually do.
