Assisted living website design & SEO in Tennessee
City pages for Tennessee assisted care living facilities and homes for the aged, starting with the places that hold the most licensed beds and buildings, from Knoxville and Nashville to Memphis and Chattanooga.
Where this started
A sales engine built one place at a time
We first built this structure for All Pro Restroom Trailers, a Florida dealer: one page for each state plus DC, and one for each major city, so buyers searching anywhere landed on a page about their own area.
The best-known result: the Maryland Jockey Club found All Pro on its Maryland page and asked for a formal $32,499 quote, and Mallory Safety / OMNIA Partners reached out about corporate purchasing.
Figures from our All Pro Restroom Trailers project (allprorestroomtrailers.com). Inquiries were quote requests, not closed sales.
People choosing care in Tennessee search the same way, by town and by county. So the Tennessee pages start where the Commission's reports list the most facilities.
Tennessee specifics
What a Tennessee facility should make clear
The October 2026 reports list 369 licensed facilities: 331 assisted care living facilities and 38 residential homes for the aged, with 23,877 beds combined. 200 of them report secured beds. Source: Tennessee Health Facilities Commission, Assisted Care Living Facilities and Residential Home for the Aged Full Bed Reports, October 2026, read Nov 1, 2026
Which license you hold
An assisted care living facility and a residential home for the aged are separate licenses under the Health Facilities Commission. Homes for the aged serve ambulatory residents and transfer them when health care services are needed, so the difference matters to readers.
Secured units, accurately
The ACLF rules define a secured unit and require annual staff training that covers Alzheimer's disease. If you run one, describe it carefully; if you don't, leave it out.
TennCare CHOICES questions
CHOICES can pay for assisted care living facility services for eligible members in participating facilities, but never room and board. A short, correct note handles the question.
Out-of-town children
Nashville's growth and the retirees drawn to East Tennessee mean many adult children search from another state. Your site has to explain your home before anyone visits.
Tennessee city pages
Website design by city, busiest markets first
Cities are ranked by how many licensed assisted care living facilities and homes for the aged the Commission lists at that city's addresses, then grouped by region.

The template
Every example runs on Assisted Living (Premium)
Each city page links to an invented sample facility on the Assisted Living (Premium) template (STH-ALF-031). You can also open the original fictional sample, Willowmere Assisted Living, read the assisted living website design overview, or browse the Arizona, Texas, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia and Florida pages.
Straight answers
What Tennessee owners ask us
Does every Tennessee city really need its own page?
People search by town: "assisted living Hendersonville" or "memory care Franklin." A dedicated page for each place you serve gives Google an exact match. It is the structure that brought our All Pro client quote requests from six states.
What is the difference between an assisted care living facility and a home for the aged?
Both are licensed by the Tennessee Health Facilities Commission. Under the Commission's rules, an assisted care living facility (ACLF) accepts primarily aged people for domiciliary care and services, and can provide more help with medication and daily living. A residential home for the aged provides room, board and personal services to four or more nonrelated people who are ambulatory; residents move to an ACLF, nursing home or hospital when they need health care services the home can't give. Say plainly which license you hold.
How should we describe a memory care or secured unit?
Tennessee's ACLF rules define a secured unit as a distinct part of the facility where residents are intentionally kept from leaving except as life safety requires, and staff on such a unit need annual training that includes Alzheimer's disease and related disorders. Describe your secured unit only if you have one, and keep the wording accurate.
Can we mention TennCare CHOICES?
TennCare's CHOICES program can pay for assisted care living facility services, such as personal care, homemaker help and medication oversight, for eligible members in participating facilities. It does not cover room and board, which the resident pays. Mention CHOICES only if you take part; we never claim participation you don't have.
Are directory listings enough?
Referral sites send each family to several facilities at once. Your own site is where people get your story directly, and it is the link Google shows on your Business Profile.
