Assisted living website design & SEO in Colorado
City pages for Colorado assisted living residences, starting with the 30 address cities where state data lists the most active residences, from Colorado Springs, Denver and Centennial to Grand Junction, Sterling and Pueblo West.
How it started
A page for every place, first tested in another industry
We built this structure for All Pro Restroom Trailers, a Florida dealer: a page for each state plus DC and a page for each major city, so a buyer searching anywhere landed on a page about their own area.
The best-known result: the Maryland Jockey Club found All Pro on its Maryland page and requested a formal $32,499 quote, and Mallory Safety / OMNIA Partners reached out about corporate purchasing.
Figures from our All Pro Restroom Trailers project (allprorestroomtrailers.com). Inquiries were quote requests, not closed sales.
People choosing care in Colorado search the same way, by city and by neighborhood, so the Colorado pages start where the state list is busiest.
Colorado specifics
What a Colorado assisted living residence should make clear
State data lists 670 active assisted living residences with 26,577 licensed beds (a few list no bed count). 282 are listed as Alternative Care Facilities, and 135 have eight or fewer beds. Source: Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment, CDPHE Health Facilities open-data layer (active Assisted Living Residences by address city), read Nov 1, 2026
Three residents and up
Colorado's assisted living license covers residences serving three or more adults, so a small house and a large building can hold the same license. Say how many people you serve.
Name your certification
An Alternative Care Facility is an assisted living residence HCPF has certified for Medicaid reimbursement. Claim it only if your certification shows it.
Room and board, accurately
Under the EBD waiver, Health First Colorado pays for Alternative Care Facility services, not room and board. Explain that plainly or leave it to a phone call.
Shared town names
Lafayette, Louisville, Westminster, Aurora and Brighton all share names with places in other states. Use "CO" on your page and profile.
Licensing sources: CDPHE, Assisted Living Residences (definition, Alternative Care Facility and Supportive Living Program, 6 CCR 1011-1 Chapters 2, 7 and 24); HCPF, Elderly, Blind and Disabled Waiver (eligibility, services, waitlists, Case Management Agencies); 10 CCR 2505-10 section 8.7506 (Alternative Care Facility services; room and board not a benefit). The template
Every example runs on Assisted Living (Premium)
Each city page links to an invented sample residence on the Assisted Living (Premium) template (STH-ALF-031). You can also open the original fictional sample, Willowmere Assisted Living, read the assisted living website design overview, or browse the Washington, Maryland, Missouri, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Indiana, Tennessee, Arizona, Texas, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia and Florida pages.
Common questions
What Colorado owners ask us
Why build a page for every Colorado city?
People search by town: "assisted living Littleton" or "memory care Fort Collins," not "assisted living Colorado." A page for each place you serve gives Google an exact match. That structure brought our All Pro client quote requests from six states.
Who licenses assisted living in Colorado?
The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) licenses assisted living residences under 6 CCR 1011-1, Chapter 2 (general licensure) and Chapter 7 (assisted living residences), with Chapter 24 covering medication administration.
What counts as an assisted living residence in Colorado?
CDPHE describes it as a residential facility that makes room and board, personal services, protective oversight, social care and regular supervision available 24 hours a day to three or more adults not related to the owner, without the 24-hour medical or nursing care a nursing home provides.
What is an Alternative Care Facility?
An assisted living residence that the Department of Health Care Policy and Financing (HCPF) has also certified to receive Medicaid reimbursement. A Supportive Living Program residence is another HCPF certification, for residences providing services such as health maintenance activities and behavioral management.
Can we say we accept Medicaid?
Only if HCPF has certified you. Health First Colorado, the state's Medicaid program, pays for Alternative Care Facility services through the Elderly, Blind and Disabled (EBD) waiver, and under 10 CCR 2505-10 section 8.7506 room and board is not part of that benefit. Waivers can have waitlists, and people apply through their local Case Management Agency.
