Assisted living website design & SEO in Minnesota
City pages for Minnesota's licensed assisted living facilities, starting with the 30 address cities where the MDH provider lookup lists the most of them, from Brooklyn Park, Minneapolis and Brooklyn Center to Anoka, Duluth and Saint Cloud.
How it started
A page for every place, first tested in another industry
We built this structure for All Pro Restroom Trailers, a Florida dealer: a page for each state plus DC and a page for each major city, so a buyer searching anywhere landed on a page about their own area.
The best-known result: the Maryland Jockey Club found All Pro on its Maryland page and requested a formal $32,499 quote, and Mallory Safety / OMNIA Partners reached out about corporate purchasing.
Figures from our All Pro Restroom Trailers project (allprorestroomtrailers.com). Inquiries were quote requests, not closed sales.
People choosing care in Minnesota search the same way, by suburb, by neighborhood and by the lake or road nearby, so the Minnesota pages start where the state lookup is busiest.
Minnesota specifics
What a Minnesota assisted living facility should make clear
The MDH provider lookup lists 2,547 licensed assisted living facilities statewide, 612 of them in the assisted living facility with dementia care category and 355 on provisional first-year licenses. Name your license category
Minnesota has two: assisted living facility, and assisted living facility with dementia care. Say which one you hold on every page, and only market dementia care if you hold that category.
Small homes are common
Many listings in the busiest cities are small licensed homes on residential streets. If you serve a handful of residents in a house, say so and show what that is like.
Elderly Waiver, accurately
The waiver pays for customized living services through enrolled providers, and by law its rates never include room and board. Mention it only if you are enrolled, and say room and board is paid separately.
Shared town names
Bloomington, Plymouth, Rochester, Roseville, Crystal, New Hope, Apple Valley and Cottage Grove all share names with places in other states. Use "MN" on your page and profile.
Licensing sources: Minn. Stat. 144G.08 (assisted living facility, assisted living facility with dementia care and assisted living services definitions); Minn. Stat. 256S.17 (Elderly Waiver rates for customized living must not include room and board, rent or raw food); Minn. Stat. 256S.02 (Elderly Waiver and customized living definitions). Read Nov 1, 2026.
Minnesota city pages
Website design by city, busiest markets first
Cities are ranked by how many licensed assisted living facilities the MDH lookup lists at that address city (count in parentheses), then grouped by region. Saint, St. and St spellings are merged before ranking, so Saint Paul and Saint Cloud count all their rows. No bed or capacity figures are used.

Common questions
What Minnesota owners ask us
Why build a page for every Minnesota city?
People search by town: "assisted living Brooklyn Park" or "memory care Edina," not "assisted living Minnesota." A page for each place you serve gives Google an exact match. That structure brought our All Pro client quote requests from six states.
Who regulates assisted living in Minnesota?
The Minnesota Department of Health. Under Minnesota Statutes chapter 144G, no assisted living facility may operate without an MDH license since August 1, 2021, and MDH surveys and enforces the law.
What are the two license categories?
Under section 144G.10, the assisted living facility category is for facilities that provide only assisted living services, and the assisted living facility with dementia care category is for facilities that also provide dementia care services. A facility that advertises dementia care or has a secured dementia care unit must hold the dementia care category.
What counts as assisted living services?
Section 144G.08 lists them: help with dressing, eating, grooming, toileting and bathing, standby assistance, medication reminders and related support. An assisted living facility provides sleeping accommodations and those services to one or more adults.
Can we say we accept Elderly Waiver?
Only if you are enrolled as a customized living provider. Elderly Waiver pays for customized living services for eligible people 65 and older, and section 256S.17 says waiver rates must not include room and board, rent or raw food costs. We never claim an enrollment you do not have.
