Assisted living website design & SEO in Oregon

City pages for Oregon adult foster homes, residential care facilities and assisted living facilities, starting with the 30 address cities where the ODHS settings search lists the most open community-based care settings, from Portland, Beaverton and Salem to Klamath Falls, Wilsonville and Woodburn.

How it started

A page for every place, first tested in another industry

We built this structure for All Pro Restroom Trailers, a Florida dealer: a page for each state plus DC and a page for each major city, so a buyer searching anywhere landed on a page about their own area.

289pages live: 234 city pages and 51 state hubs
7quote requests in 8 weeks
6buyer locations: FL, NC, TX, AL, MD, DC

The best-known result: the Maryland Jockey Club found All Pro on its Maryland page and requested a formal $32,499 quote, and Mallory Safety / OMNIA Partners reached out about corporate purchasing.

Figures from our All Pro Restroom Trailers project (allprorestroomtrailers.com). Inquiries were quote requests, not closed sales.

People choosing care in Oregon search the same way, by city, by neighborhood and by the road they drive, so the Oregon pages start where the state search is busiest.

Oregon specifics

What an Oregon care home should make clear

The ODHS settings search lists 2,173 open community-based care settings with 37,600 licensed beds: 1,600 adult foster homes, 240 assisted living facilities and 333 residential care facilities. 248 hold a memory care endorsement. Nursing facilities are not counted. Name your license type

Oregon has three: adult foster homes (five or fewer residents), residential care facilities and assisted living facilities (six or more; assisted living means self-contained apartments). Say which one you are on every page.

Small homes lead

Adult foster homes outnumber all other settings nearly three to one statewide. If you serve five people in a house, say so and show what that is like.

Medicaid, accurately

Medicaid pays for services only at settings with an ODHS contract, and the resident still pays the room-and-board amount set by rule. Mention Medicaid only if you hold that contract.

Memory care is an endorsement

If ODHS has endorsed your memory care community, say so and explain what the secured setting means. If not, do not use the phrase as a service.

Licensing sources: ORS 443.400 and 443.705 (residential care facility and adult foster home definitions); OAR 411-054-0005 (assisted living and residential care facility definitions); OAR 411-057-0100 (memory care community endorsement); OAR 411-027-0025 (Medicaid service payment and the resident's room-and-board responsibility); ODHS, Community-Based Care Facility Licensing; ODHS, CBC Information and Options (Medicaid contract required; updated April 8, 2026). Oregon city pages

Website design by city, busiest markets first

Cities are ranked by how many open adult foster homes, assisted living facilities and residential care facilities the ODHS search lists at that address city (count in parentheses), then grouped by region. Unincorporated addresses such as Aloha and Clackamas are counted on their own. Nursing facilities are excluded.

Common questions

What Oregon owners ask us

Why build a page for every Oregon city?

People search by town: "adult foster home Beaverton" or "memory care Medford," not "assisted living Oregon." A page for each place you serve gives Google an exact match. That structure brought our All Pro client quote requests from six states.

Who regulates assisted living in Oregon?

The Oregon Department of Human Services (ODHS). Its Office of Aging and People with Disabilities licenses adult foster homes, residential care facilities and assisted living facilities, and separately endorses memory care communities.

What is the difference between an assisted living facility and a residential care facility?

Under OAR 411-054-0005 both serve six or more seniors and adults with disabilities with 24-hour supportive services. An assisted living facility consists of fully self-contained individual living units; a residential care facility may have shared or individual units. ORS 443.400 defines residential care to include room and board.

What is an adult foster home?

Under ORS 443.705, a family home or facility where residential care is provided in a homelike environment for five or fewer adults who are not related to the provider.

What is a memory care endorsement?

Under OAR 411-057, ODHS endorses memory care communities that provide specialized services in a secured environment for people with dementia. The endorsement is a separate approval on top of the facility license, and ODHS says it is not a recommendation.

Can we say we accept Medicaid?

Only if you hold an ODHS Medicaid contract. Under OAR 411-027-0025, Medicaid pays a service rate as payment in full while the resident is responsible for the room-and-board amount set by rule, keeping a personal allowance. We never claim a contract you do not have.

What does it cost?

Plans start at $24.99 a month, with no setup fee and no long-term contract. Hosting, basic SEO and up to 10 published edits a month are included.
